About Rio

Rio's dam and sire have both produced champions MANY TIMES! His dam makes fawn/light brown when bred to solid white, but on the occasion she makes white they have been CHAMPION whites.  His Sire hails from the herdsire row at Magical Farms and constantly produces champion after champion. His high frequency crimp style was stamped onto Rio's luscious dark fawn fiber and it drew me in like quicksand from the very first time I saw photos. A generous supply of fineness and density were the frosting on the cake !  Rio's half sister and brother on the Dam's side, Tevin and Tavio (who is also standing stud here at the farm) are both White and his half sister's on his sire side, Prada and Luca are FAWN Champions.  We expect nothing less from Rio's Offspring. Rio is breeding Call or email to schedule a visit to see Rio in person! Although his show career was not lengthy, Rio has been blessed with showing among some of the toughest competition in the country!

About GL

Bentley's Golden Legacy is a very special to us. Although we have many boys, more than we really need of course, we were ecstatic the day he was born. His Dam, Sonatina, has given us several top quality cria, including our herdsire Dreamweaver. So we knew she would not disappoint when we bred her to "Mary's" Bentley.

Immediately after his birth we could see lots of curly Q fiber and as he dried we got more excited. With his sire passing much too early in life and very suddenly before his birth we were so proud to have his son, and thus his name was meant to be a lasting memorial to what could have been. At the time of his birth only female cria had been sired by "Mary's" Bentley.  Now that all cria have been born we are very proud that we have one of just two male offspring, making him more special to us.

"GL" will probably never be sold from our herd and has grown into a nice sized male, ready and willing to take his big brothers place in our herdsire line up. He continues to be one of the sweetest alpacas we have.  We are looking forward to seeing his cria
